Original review...Always a delicious experience.Updated review on experience from 2/14.I'm really sad. Because I've always raved about this place to everyone I know. The food is AMAZING!Unfortunately I will not be back. During a date. There was a roach crawling on the wall. We paid and left. Never coming back. Hope business improves. This just left a bad feeling in my stomach.

Awesome spot. The noodles were great!! Love their menu definitely have to go back and try some more things. Service was great also very attentive! The pork and chive dumplings were exceptional as well and def worth a look! Highly recommended

Lamb soup was delicious. All noodles are hand made. You can watch them pull the noodles by hand. Taking your order and bringing the check was a bit slow. I plan to go back soon. It is quite inexpensive and food offerings are like nothing I've seen at Chinese restaurants. I highly recommend it. I have gone back several times to sample other dishes and have never been disappointed. The dumplings take long because the wonton is hand made. Order them with your drinks if you can. They are delicious.

This place is seriously amazing. The noodles are hand pulled and you can watch them do it. It is fascinating to watch and the resulting noodles have a fantastic texture and taste. The service was friendly and efficient. This was our first time and we will becoming back often.

Food was pretty good. We all ordered handmade noodles and got our food pretty quickly. The portion sizes are definitely on the large side, and we all had trouble finishing our bowls. Not the worst problem to have though, I guess.

Best noodle place in town hands down. If you go on the weekends try the Chinese cheeseburger it’s awesome.

I was impressed after my first time. Food was reasonably priced, tastes great and you get a very generous portion. I took my wife the next week and we found a bug in our noodle bowl. I will not be eating here again.

Had the beef fried rice, wife had the beef noodle soup, we split chicken and onion dumplings as an appetizer. All of it was really good. We took it to go and ate at home, would definitely recommend this place to anybody. As a heads up, my wife doesn't handle hot spicy food well and her beef noodle soup was their mild spice and even for me that was considerably hotter than what I would consider is a mild hot level.

Surprisingly good! Sort of a hole in the wall but awesome handmade noodles. The dumplings were especially phenomenal.

Excellent food. Large portions. No complaints. Their pickled cabbage is a must try!

Lucky Noodle is great. The pork and chive dumplings were awesome. The variety of soup was huge from lamb to beef. Rice selections. Oh and the noodles are hand pulled. You've gotta check this place out.

The perfect way to eat especially if the weather is cold. The menu provides comfort and flavors that will make you crave more. The noodles are made by order and although often times the wait is a bit long, it is worth it. Once that bowl of noodles arrives to your table you can’t help but to admire the art and passion put in to the make of the dish.

This is a small restaurant, but it does get packed. They don't really have enough staff to handle peak times. I got the Stir Fired Noodles with Chicken. It was delicious, and for the price it was definitely a big portion of food. I only ate 1/3 of it. Be patient if you come when it's busy. Will be coming back.

Unassuming noodle/Chinese restaurant with a friendly and helpful staff. Make sure you arrive hungry for the large portions provided. First time here and I had the Braised beef and noodle bowl. I was not disappointed. Great broth and delicious noodles. You get to choose between flat, thin, and fettuccine noodle. You may even be lucky enough the see the noodle master stretching noodles in the kitchen. Will return soon.

Homemade gyoza were good. Wish they had better flavored chili oil like most chinese places, only downside.

First time today and I was impressed. The food and service were awesome. I had the 101, Hand-Pulled Noodle with Beef, and the wife had shrimp fried rice. These are the best noodles I've ever had. I will definitely go back.

Very good hand pulled noodles. You do need to know what you want and understand the menu. You don't get a lot of help with that. There are some very traditional items on the menu that a novice would have no idea to order. Ask questions and be patient with the explanation. You will be happy you went here if you are looking for a solid noodle shop.

Great food, not so great service.

If your craving some soup on a nice chilly day, I would have to recommend you to Lucky Noodle. They have a variety of noodle soups that you can get with different toppings. What also makes the experience great is that you can see them making the noodles in the kitchen! Wow!On the menu, I would have to say you need to get number 201 with thin noodle and 0 spice. It’s a pretty simple dish with brisket, bok choy (green vegetable) and noodles. This soup has big chunks of tender brisket inside that makes the flavor of the soup incredible! The brisket falls apart in your mouth. And if your not a fan of soup, you can grab noodle stir fry!

Great authentic and flavorful food. Fun to watch the chef making noodles by hand in the kitchen. Good value for money. Pretty good service. Clean, too. We'll be back!

Ate here for the first time and it was a nice ambient place. Once we got our menu's, the dishes looked scrumptious especially the hand pulled noodles with beef. We started with an order of dumplings with chive. They were indeed good. We were excited but once we got our food, which wasn't long, I was disappointed to notice that the noodles I received did not look the way they did on the menu as they didnt have the chopped green onions and other garnishes. It was also lacking flavor as it was sort of bland and I had to add lots of soy sauce just for a decent and balanced flavor. I'm sure this place will improve for that dish. I will come again and try some of the other dishes but overall, not a bad place to fill your belly for the dollar.

I love this place!

Super delicious hand pulled noodles that you can get customized to your liking. Want thicc boi noodles? You got it. Want regular thin noodles? Not a problem. Either way, you can watch the noodles being made through the kitchen window. The broth is incredibly flavorful and savory. The dumplings are also great. They're hand made and remind me of home. This place will become a staple for Chinese food in my book.

Love this place! My dad and I come here at least 2-3 times a month(I would definitely come more if i could) The noodles are some of the best! The dumplings are amazing! And the fried rice is different but in a good way! I reccomend this place to people all the time! If you're starving I wouldn't come if you're not willing to wait for fresh hot food.

BEST NOODLES IN TOWN!!! At least in my opinion. Their Brisket wide noodle bowl, and the Mapo Tofu are two of my favorite dishes in town (or ever probably). Do yourself a favor and check out Lucky Noodle!!! if you go during lunch or dinner expect to wait a little bit, but be patient it is so worth it.

The noodles are out of this world, I have never had a noodle that tasted so good. So much so, that it was definitely the star of the plate and the beef was just there as a slight flavor addition. I have to assume this to be a truly authentic Chinese restaurant based on the percentage of Asians dining, as compared to any typical Chinese restaurant you see in most strip malls. I am so excited to go back and try additional items on the menu. Aside from the slight language barrier when asking for an off menu substitute for my vegetarian daughter the service was great. Overall I thought it was a great value for the quality of ingredients.

Decent food and decent service. Nice little restaurant tucked away that has a healthy amount of options for your meal.The beef brisket soup with thin noodles was great with a hearty broth. The real hero here however was not the protein, but the noodles themselves. These are probably some of the best noodles that I have had in my life and are what is keeping this review from being a 3.We also had the Mapo Tofu which according my girlfriend was packed with flavor and definitely enjoyable. A side of steamed white rice made a nice compliment to the spice.I give this place a soft, but more likely a 3.5. Good prices, and healthy servings, just wish the service was slightly better.

Fresh noodles hand-made on site? Delicious sauces and fresh veggies? This place is a must visit in San Antonio. The service is always on point and the food is served hot and delicious.

Ate here on Easter as I had to work. Loved the noodles! They were amazing! The chicken fried rice was very good and the chicken tasted great in it. The sweet and sour cucumber was my favorite part of my meal but it was all really good. Also had the chicken and noodle soup, both was very flavorful and the chicken was cooked just right. Very friendly and attentive staff as well.

Found this place on Google map. The reviews and pics looked good. Place was clean and cozy. Not too busy at 8pm weekday. Ordered brisket noodles (thin homemade cut) and pig's ear. The noodle was medium spicy. Tons of noodles, it was a big serving! Beef was okay and the broth was less than flavorful but spicy enough. Bok choy was good. The pig's ear was great with the noodles, fresh and good spice.

The food is good but the service needs improvement other than that it was good.

I'm giving this palce 3 stars because the service is SUPER SLOW, so do not go if you are in a rush. I have been here twice and 3 employees are in charge of the lunch and dinner rush. Customer service is very very important, though they are not rude, it's not enough staff for the busy hours to get you seated and checked out within a reasonable time. Hopefully as the business grows so does the location and the amount of staff members they hire.. ok now the FOOD IS AMAZING!!! No complains there. Its delicious, its comforting and amazing flavor. Check it out, just be extremely patient when arriving and sitting down.

Can you say fantastic dumplings? Because they are just that. Not to mention all the other good food they offer but, if I want to be honest, the dumplings are far the best thing I had and I will gladly go back to eat order after order of those fresh delicious little meat clouds of perfectness.

Home made noodles! You can watch them being made several times a day. I like mine shaved thin, but if you want a thicker noodle ask for the flat ones. The meats are tasty. I like spicy food but only ask for medium spicy here as they take you seriously if you ask for spicy. There are some delicious vegetarian options here too. Service is a little on the slow side but definitely worth the wait. The pickled cucumber and the dumplings are great appetizers to hold you til the home made broths and noodles and sumptuous meats get to the table. Portions are big so plan on sharing or taking some home. The price is nice too!

OMG. I have no words to do this place enough justice. Found this gem after watching Elder Eats from KSAT12 and it did not disappoint. My husband and I shared a plate of dumplings (beef and chive) and each one is literally a flavor bomb going off in your mouth. It’s quite possibly one of the greatest things I’ve ever eaten. I had the bowl of beef brisket noodles and my goodness, the brisket was so tender and I swear they marinated it in heaven. Absolutely one of the best noodle bowls I’ve ever had. Hands down one of the best Chinese restaurants in town. Super friendly staff too. Servings are super huge for the price. Well worth it.

I wish I would have taken a picture nonetheless the place is authentic Chinese. There hand made pulled noodles were amazing and the broth for the soups were deliciously seasoned with hints of ginger and 5 spice. Their pork buns was also so good. The last time I felt this way was in my hometown of Toronto, Canada where there are many great Chinese restaurants. Definitely coming back to try something different. Great price, fast service and wonderful aroma. You won’t regret it

Lucky Noodle us by far the best noodle hpyse restaurant I have ever eaten at. I had chicken dumplings and a chicken noodle soup with flat noodles. It was awesome. We will definitely be back.

Service was okay . Which is understandable when the staff is understaff. If you decide to eat here come with time. Food is great I highly recommend the pork but please don’t get the flat noodles, they are okay I guess. My girlfriend got the beef which was dry for sure the pork and lamb are the top two highlight of the restaurant. Recommendation to the restaurant is to have Music.

Delicious food and great service. I had the shrimp fried rice, and it was both tasty and in generous portions. I will have another amazing lunch tomorrow. The waitress was very helpful about my food allergies.My colleagues had the dumplings, stew, and a variety of other menu items, and everyone was happy with their choices.

This is my second time here; first time was dine in and this time take out. Both times the service has been great and professional. The food is delicious and authentic. If you like dumplings this place hook it up! For the price you’ll get 3x the dumplings, if you like noodles the dish is good size too. One of my favorite dish is the twice cooked pork belly. It’s better than other places I’ve tried so far. Over all good food, service and generous portions.

The chicken and onion dumplings are a MUST!!!!! We ordered the noodle soup with chicken and one with beef. Those were good, portion size was big. Will definitely come back for in house, hand made dumplings and noodle dishes.

Great food! I've eaten most of the menu several times. Highly recommend any of the cold noodles, egg and tomato dish, pickled cabbage, and any of the noodleless soups on the back page of the menu (fish soup is a game changer). Also all the noodle soups are amazing. Cant go wrong here but don't be afraid to branch out to something different because it is all delicious.

No Sweet/Sour Soup, no Egg-drop Soup and no Rangoons. What kind of Chinese Resturant is this? One that has the most extensive menu, generous portions and lowest prices we have ever experienced! Who needs the aforementioned when the choices are plentiful and extremely flavorful? If you eat here once, it will become your favorite CHINESE RESTURANT as it has become ours.

Oh my god the food was delicious . we will be going back. The noodles are handmade and you can see them making them its very neat. The meat was very flavorful and the chicken feet done to perfection

This is my first visit, and I will be back. I can say that fresh hand-pulled noodles do make a difference! They are delicious! I had #103 with thin noodles and medium spice. Medium spice was not too hot!

We really liked our meals. Place is pleasant, nicely decorated. Staff is agreeable. A nice break if you do not want Ethiopian food.
